| Here are few details regarding what you can expect during camp. All students are given a student starter deco kit. This is the only item they are required to bring to class. Each child is expected to use their own kits through out the camp session. They are responsible for collecting their tools at the end of class, taking them home and bringing them back to the next day, clean of all icings and dye. Students will use cake and candy dyes. Please note that these dyes may stain. For this reason, we ask that you either purchase a cooks apron from either Eat My Art or from your favorite department or specialty kitchen supply store. When dressing for class, you may want to be sure that they wear clothing that you don't mind getting a little messy. A plain t-shirt and dark jeans are suggested. Students are encouraged to practice, practice, practice - as we all know - this makes perfect! Eat My Art will provide for each child, a starter kit complete with tips, cutters, etc. , you may choose to purchase other items throughout the course, such as, fondant, icing colors, powders, icing bags, etc., so that they may practice at home. Please be prompt!! We have several camp sessions scheduled throughout each day. We have so much fun planned for our students. In order to cover all of our lessons, we must start on time. We also encourage you to pick up your child on time. To help plan this, it is our suggestion that you arrive 10 minutes before each class begins and 10 minutes before the class ends to pick them up. |
